EXPERIENCE
I have been an art educator at You’re So Crafty since 2017. It is here that I discovered the world of felting. I was putting together curriculum for the upcoming summer arts camp when a friend recommended, I teach felted soap. I did some research, tried my hand and Mind Blown! I was immediately drawn into the world of fiber arts that I continue to explore today.

March 2020 - Bandera Fiber and Arts Festival. Classes offered in wet felting and needle felting.
Jan. 2020 – Yellow Rose on the Coast. Classes offered in wet felting and needle felting.

You’re So Crafty, Art Educator
My home base is located in Seguin, Texas where I offer monthly classes in felting along with jewelry making, fused glass, mosaics and hand-built clay. I also develop and teach the Summer Arts Camp for youth ages 6 – 16.

I handcraft and package herbal teas, tinctures, salves and other herbal remedies. Originally a retail store front, products are now offered in select retailers and online.

Responsible to the production for script breakdown, budget and scheduling of shoot, hiring technical personnel and vendors, arranging clearances and permits and overseeing the preparation of location sites. Liaison between site owners and production management team.

Developed screenplays for Bright Shining City Productions. Emphasis on story development and research while working closely with screenwriters to produce quality screenplays ready for pre-production.

Regional Interpretive Specialist for Texas Parks and Wildlife
As regional program specialist I developed interpretive master plans for State Parks. NIA certified trainer, facilitator, liaison, interpretive writer. Developed and implemented interpretive master plans for State Parks and Historical Sites.

World Geography Educator
Instructed curriculum through process of inquiry where students gained a higher awareness and understanding of their global environment. Through project-oriented curriculum, major topics addressed throughout the world regions included human-environment interaction and environmental issues.
